Terms of Use

Draft: this text has not been through legal review.

Qur'an Chat (the app and thequran.chat) is provided by Division Software, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. By using the app you accept these terms.

The service

Qur'an Chat is a free, non-commercial app for reading the Qur'an, comparing translations, looking up words and roots, and asking questions about the Qur'an. There are no ads, no paid content and no subscriptions.

AI answers

The answers of "Ask the Quran" and "Explain" are written by an AI model. They can be wrong or incomplete. They are not a fatwa, a religious ruling or expert advice. On important matters, read the cited verses yourself and consult a scholar.

Texts and sources

The Qur'an text, the translations and other data come from the sources listed on the About page, under their own licences. Translations are shown as their sources publish them, unchanged. You may use this content only as its licences allow.
